Al-Sadd midfielder Ahmed Sayyar emphasised the importance of the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 15 clash with Al-Khor, describing it as a crucial game that his side is looking to win.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Ahmed said: “It will be a difficult match for the two teams. We are in the lead and we are aiming to collect the three points and Al Khor is at the bottom of the table and also needs the points from the game, so it will be a difficult confrontation and, God willing, victory will be for Al-Sadd.”
He added: “The lead has become 11 points, but the competition is still not over, and our goal is to give our best in the match to win. After that, everything will be crucial, especially as the league is entering its final stages.”
