The Al-Sadd football first team will begin their preparations for the new 2021-22 season next Tuesday, July 20, at the club’s training facility.
The team’s training in Doha will include physical and technical tests for the players, in order to check their readiness before selecting the final squad list for the overseas camp.
The club management had earlier decided to hold the overseas preseason camp in Olot, 100 km from Barcelona, from the 1st to the 14th of August. During the camp, Al-Sadd will play three friendly matches in preparation for the new season.
This is the second time that the Wolves are organising the camp in Olot, after having earlier done the same ahead of the 2019-20 season.
The camp will start without the group of Qatari internationals, who are currently participating with the national team in the Gold Cup in the United States.
