Al-Sadd defeated Al-Wakrah 3-0 in their 2022-23 Ooredoo Cup Group A second round clash which was played at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium at Al Wakrah.
After a goalless first half, Baghdad Bounedjah opened the scoring in the 60th minute, after converting a cross from the right by Abdullah Al Yazidi.
Hassan Ahmed then added to the scoreline with a quick brace. The first of those came in the 73rd minute; once again Al Yazidi was the provider, and Hassan made no mistake. He then netted another in the 78th minute to take the score to 3-0, which is how the game ended.
Al-Sadd play Umm Salal in their next fixture in the Ooredoo Cup.
