Al-Sadd star Akram Afif described the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 12 game against Al-Markhiya as difficult, and spoke of the need to win and to make the Wolves’ fans happy.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference: “Al-Markhiya is an improed team and won against us in the first phase. We must prepare well for the match in order to win.”
Afif added: “A very important match awaits us, and we are looking to get back and compete for the league title. It will be an intense match, and our goal is to win to make the fans happy.”
He continued: “As I said the team’s ambition is to win all matches and collect points, regardless of the current position we are in. We are taking each match separately in order to get the points.”
Afif concluded by saying: “The first seven matches in the league were difficult for the team as we were suffering from the absence of many players, but we are now fully ready to provide our best and get victories.”
