Ooredoo Cup: Al-Sadd hold main training session to prepare for semifinal clash with Al-Duhail

The first football team of Al-Sadd Club played its main training session at 6:15 pm today, Tuesday, at the club’s subsidiary stadium, in preparation for the next Al-Duhail match, in the semi-finals of the Ooredoo Cup for the season 2022-2023.

Al Sadd enters the match after being in second place in Group A, with 9 points from three wins and two losses.

The first group included: (Umm Salal, Al Sadd, Qatar Club, Al Ahly, Al Wakra and Al Sailiya).

The coaching staff, led by Spain’s Juanma, was keen to meet with the players before the start of the training session to determine the goals of the next match, which is a great test for the children of Al-Theeb in order to achieve victory and qualify for the final match.

The technical staff was interested in implementing some special sentences on the goal and the way the players moved longitudinally and transversely, before making a division in the middle of the field that witnessed great excitement and club from all players.

In a related context, the duo of the South Korean Jong Woo-young and the Algerian Baghdad Bounedjah, were summoned to their national teams during the current international break.
