Al-Sadd coach Juanma Lillo has stressed the difficulty of his side’s upcoming QNB Stars League clash against Al-Arabi.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Juanma said: “We know that we have a rivalry with Al-Arabi, as is the case with Al-Rayyan. Moreover, Al-Arabi is at the top of the standings, and this gives more value to the match.”
“Obviously, if they are in first place it is because they have done a good job. This means that the match will be very difficult but you cannot think before any match that it will not be so.”
He added: “In fact, the next match will be ever more difficult, as we are playing against the leaders.”
About his side, the coach said: “At the moment we have the players who came back from the World Cup already adapting here to the new roles. We also have players who were with the national team in the Gulf Cup and have just arrived. When everyone gathers, a different path begins for the team.”
