Al-Sadd coach Wesam Rizk emphasized the importance of returning to winning ways in the upcoming match against Muaither, scheduled for Friday evening as part of the eighteenth week of the Expo Stars League.
During the pre-match press conference, Wesam said, “I hope the team’s performance against Muaither will be better than the last match against Al-Arabi. Every team goes through a difficult period, and I hope we overcome it quickly, especially since everyone is aware of the responsibility on both players and coaching staff.”
He continued, “We are facing a tough match, and three points are crucial. We are seeking to obtain those points, and our focus will solely be on achieving victory and returning to winning ways.”
The Al-Sadd coach noted that he expects a strong reaction from the players after only collecting two points in the last two matches, which does not meet our ambitions or the aspirations of the team’s fans. He added, “We will be fully prepared for the upcoming match against Muaither. The character of the Al-Sadd players will play a role in facing Muaither in order to come back strongly. We have players capable of delivering the best to secure the three points and maintain the lead in the league.”
