Al-Sadd’s Brazilian full-back Paulo Otavio spoke of his delight after extending his contract with the club for three more years.

Otavio, who joined the club in the summer of 2023, expressed his thoughts on the occasion, speaking to the club website.

He said: “I am very happy with my first three years at Al-Sadd, and my family is also very happy here in the country. The country has given us everything, and I think the least I can give back is my maximum on the pitch. I’m really happy. I am really, really happy. The Al Sadd SC first-team football delegation will depart Doha on Monday morning, 13 July, heading to Austria for an overseas training camp as part of preparations for the new 2026–2027 season.
