Al-Sadd to hold preseason camp in Austria

The Al-Sadd coaching staff have decided to hold an overseas training camp in Vienna, Austria, as part of the preparations for the launch of the new football season and the 2022-23 QNB Stars League campaign.

The camp will start on the 4th of July and will continue until the 20th of the same month.

During the overseas camp, Al-Sadd will play a number of friendly matches, in addition to technical and physical training, which will prepare the team for the new season. ...

AFC Champions League: Al-Sadd end campaign with 1-0 victory over Al-Faisaly

Al-Sadd ended their AFC Champions League 2022 campaign in Group E, with a 1-0 victory over Saudi side Al-Faisaly, in the sixth and final round clash which was played at the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium on Wednesday.

Al-Sadd exited the 2022 AFC Champions League after a 3-1 defeat to Nasaf in their Group E fifth round clash, which was played at the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

Akmal Mozgovoy netted a brace for Nasaf (63′, 77′) while Khuisain Norchaev also scored (75′). Substitute Rodrigo Tabata got Al-Sadd’s lone goal in the first minute of stoppage time. ...
