Al Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham congratulated his teammates, the technical and administrative staff, and the fans after winning the Pride and Glory Cup following their victory over Al Duhail in the final.

Al-Sadd clinch Qatar Cup after victory over Al-Duhail on penalties

Al Sadd claimed the 2025 Qatar Cup title after defeating Al Duhail in the final via a 4-3 penalty shootout, following a 2-2 draw in regular and extra time. The match took place on Saturday, 10 May 2025, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

Claudinho scored for Al Sadd in the 63rd minute from the penalty spot, while Rafa Mújica netted the equalizer in the 86th minute. For Al Duhail, Michael Olunga found the net in the 48th minute, followed by Benjamín Bourigeaud in the 65th minute. ... 

Amir Cup: Al-Sadd advance to quarterfinals after beating Al-Kharaitiyat

Al Sadd qualified for the quarterfinals of the 2025 Amir Cup after a 3-1 victory over Al Kharaitiyat in the Round of 16 match, which was held today, Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Al Thumama Stadium.

The Wolves advanced to face Al Gharafa in the quarterfinals.

Al-Sadd head coach Felix Sanchez expressed his deep sadness following his team’s 2-3 defeat to Japan’s Kawasaki Frontale and their exit from the AFC Champions League Elite 2024-2025 at the quarterfinal stage.
