Al-Sadd head coach Félix Sánchez has expressed his great happiness at taking on the management of the first team for the upcoming period.
In his statements to Al Sadd’s official website during the team’s training camp in Spain in preparation for the 2024-2025 season, Félix said: “I am very happy to be here and to be part of the club. I know this is a big responsibility, but with the help and effort of everyone in the team, I look forward to achieving great accomplishments this season.”
Sánchez added: “I know many of the players because I have recently coached them. This will help me, the coaching staff, and also the players to quickly adapt to our training methods and style of play.”
He continued: “All the players are highly focused during this period, which is crucial for preparing for the new season. Everyone is training well with a positive spirit and quality. They are giving their best in the friendly matches, and we are pleased with what we have seen so far.”
Regarding the competition in the new season, he said: “I believe that the league in Qatar is improving every year, and the level of competition is rising, making it more challenging to win championships. But we have a team capable of competing in all competitions, and we will do our best to win every tournament.”
Félix concluded with a message to Al Sadd fans: “I hope Al Sadd fans will attend the matches and continue to support the team. It is very important for the players and for all of us to feel the presence of the fans close to us, to help us achieve our goals.”
