Al-Sadd returned to winning ways in the 2024-25 Ooredoo Stars League by defeating Al-Gharafa 4-2 in the sixth round. The game took place on Thursday, September 26, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The win brought Al-Sadd to nine points from three wins and three losses. Al-Sadd’s goals were scored by Pedro Miguel in the 4th minute, Cristo Pérez in the 7th minute, Akram Afif in the 27th minute, and Hassan Al-Haydos in the 90(+8)th minute. Al-Gharafa’s goals were scored by Joselu in the 42nd minute and Yacine Brahimi in the 59th minute. The match also saw Akram Afif miss a penalty in the 83rd minute.
