Roberto Mancini, Al Sadd’s head coach, confirmed the team’s readiness for the upcoming match against Al Shahania, as part of Week 15 of the 2025–2026 Doha Bank Stars League.
Mancini said during the press conference: “The next match will be difficult, because every match for us is difficult, as all the teams that play against Al Sadd play with great strength.”
He added: “Al Shahania defeated us in the first phase, so we need to be concentrated for this match.”
Mancini also offered advice to his players, saying: “They must be strong in every match, and strong in every training session as well. Only in this way can we win the league title.”
For his part, midfielder Mohamed Kamara stressed the importance of the upcoming match against Al Shahania, saying:
“It won’t be an easy match. Al Shahania are a good team, and they have talented players. It depends on us — we must be ready to approach these matches at 100%. We are in good form and we will continue working to keep winning games.”
The Al Sadd player added: “It was important to beat Al Gharafa because they were ahead of us by five points. We won, and now we are only two points behind. For us, it’s about winning every match and taking things one game at a time, and then we’ll see what happens.”
