With this win, Al Sadd moved up to 32 points. The goals were scored by Akram Afif, who netted a hat-trick, with strikes in the 14th minute from the penalty spot, and in the 50th and 83rd minutes, while Claudinho added the fourth goal in the 73rd minute.
