Al-Sadd continued its winning streak in the 2025–2026 Doha Bank Stars League with a 3–1 victory over Al-Wakrah, in Week 16 of the competition. The match was played on Sunday at Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium.
With this win, Al-Sadd extended its lead at the top of the table with 35 points, four ahead of closest challengers Al-Shamal and Al-Gharafa.
Al-Sadd’s goals were scored by Pedro Miguel in the 9th minute, Roberto Firmino in first half stoppage time (45+3′), and Rafa Mujica in the 57th minute.
Al-Wakrah’s lone goal was scored by Amine Zahzouh in the 72nd minute.
