Al-Sadd claimed a 3–1 victory over Al-Duhail in the opening match of Week 17 of the Doha Bank Stars League for the 2025–2026 season. The match was played at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium at Al-Duhail Club on Thursday, 26 February 2026.
With this win, Al-Sadd achieved their tenth consecutive victory in the league this season.
The Wolves maintained their position at the top of the table with 38 points. Al-Sadd’s three goals were scored by Youssef Ayman (Al-Duhail) with an own goal in the 52nd minute, Rafa Mujica in the 54th minute, and Giovani Henrique in the 83rd minute. Al-Duhail’s lone goal was scored by Edmilson Junior in the 47th minute.
