Al-Sadd secured a 3–1 victory over Al-Sailiya in Round 21 of the Doha Bank Stars League for the 2025–2026 season. The match took place at Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday, 8 April 2026.
With this win, Al-Sadd moved up to 42 points. Akram Afif scored twice in the 10th and 48th minutes, while Roberto Firmino added the third in the 70th minute. Anwar El Ghazi netted Al-Sailiya’s only goal in the 80th minute.
