His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Khalid Al Thani, CEO of Al-Sadd Football Company, dedicated the league title to Al-Sadd fans, stressing that their support was one of the most important factors in achieving this success.
He said: “We dedicate this precious title to our great fans, who have always stood behind the team and supported us in all circumstances.”
He added: “The league this season was not easy. We did not start in a way that befits the name of Al-Sadd, but thank God we were able to gradually recover, climb to the top positions, and eventually compete for the title.”
He continued: “What we achieved is the result of an entire season’s effort. The determination and fighting spirit of the Al-Sadd players were the key factors in securing the championship.”
He also highlighted the strength of the competition, saying: “The rival this season was not traditional, and Al-Shamal delivered an outstanding performance and deserves full credit for what they have shown.”
He went on to say: “We congratulate all members of Al-Sadd Club on this well-deserved achievement.”
Sheikh Khalifa also praised the technical aspect, adding: “The team witnessed an important change with the arrival of coach Mancini, a big name in the world of coaching. Despite challenges, difficulties, and injuries, we managed to win a title that is considered one of the most difficult.”
