Al Sadd SC’s first team began preparations for the new 2026–2027 season with their opening training session on Sunday, 5 July, at the club’s training facilities.
The session was attended by Mohammed Ghanem Al Ali, head of the football department, Sheikh Khalifa bin Khalid Al Thani, CEO of Al Sadd Football Company, Mohammed Gholam Al Balushi, the sporting director, as well as the first-team administrative staff.
The training was conducted under the supervision of head coach Razvan Lucescu and his coaching staff.
Meanwhile, Al Sadd are also preparing to hold their overseas training camp in Austria from 13 July until 7 August.
