Qatar referee Mishari Al-Shammari, under the direction of the Qatar Football Association’s Referees Committee, held a session for Al-Sadd’s first-team players to explain the latest amendments to the Laws of the Game that will be implemented by referees from the start of the 2026–2027 Qatar Stars League season.
Members of Al-Sadd’s technical and administrative staff, along with the first-team players, attended the Referees Committee session, which was held in the main hall at the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiya Sports Hall. The session focused on explaining the latest amendments to the Laws of the Game and ensuring a unified approach to their application ahead of the new 2026–2027 season.
Al-Sadd will face Algerian side MC Alger in the Al-Ahrar Cup on Saturday, 15 August, before beginning their Doha Bank Stars League campaign against Al Ahli on 22 August.
