Al Sadd defeated Al Ahli 3–1 in the opening week of the Doha Bank Stars League for the 2026–2027 season, in the match played today, Saturday, at Al Sadd’s Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
With this victory, Al Sadd secured their first three points of the season. Al Sadd’s three goals were scored by Akram Afif in the 11th minute, Claudinho in the 44th minute, and Pedro Miguel in the 45+6th minute. Giovanni Henrique missed a penalty for Al Sadd in the 35th minute, while Al Ahli’s Erik Exposito scored from the penalty spot in the 80th minute.
