Al-Sadd head coach Razvan Lucescu confirmed his team’s readiness to face Al-Sailiya in the fourth week of the Doha Bank Stars League.
He added during the press conference: “This is our fourth match in the league, every match in the Qatari league is difficult, and therefore we must be ready for it in the best possible way.”
He continued: “We need focus and mental discipline, alongside the desire to fight and work hard. We must be ready in every respect, and think only about this match and deal with it as if it were a final match.”
Razvan added: “We played the Qatar Cup semi-final match on Tuesday, then we faced Al Gharafa again on Saturday in the league. And now we will face Al-Sailiya on Thursday, and after that, on Monday, we will play our first match in the AFC Champions League Elite.”
He concluded his talk: “This is the beginning of a very crowded period for us, but we have to adapt to these circumstances and deal with them in the right way. We have a group of players present here in order to play, fight, work, and give everything they have to achieve the win.”
For his part, Al Sadd player Hashim Ali confirmed: “The upcoming match against Al-Sailiya is very important for us, every match is important if we want to compete for the title, and the three points are very important for us.”
He added: “We achieved the win in our first three matches, we are dealing with the season match after match, and we focus on collecting the three points in every match.”
