Al-Sadd captain Hassan Al-Haydos remarked that his side did not perform up to the mark in the AFC Champions League Matchday 3 clash with Al-Ain, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
Speaking after the game, Al-Haydos said: “We are capable of doing much better. We faced a strong Al-Ain team, but we will work on getting a win in the next game.”
He added: “Unfortunately, we conceded goals in a strange manner and we need to be careful in the upcoming games as we are going to face really strong teams that want to compete in Asia.”
“We conceded a surprise goal and this should not happen. We need to be fully focused from the first minute and until the last, as we are facing strong teams. We have the ability to return with better performances in the upcoming games.”
