Al-Sadd wrapped up their preparations for the 2020 AFC Champions League Matchday 4 clash against Al-Ain, with a final training session on Thursday.
The Wolves go into the match sitting in second place in Group D with 5 points from two draws against Al-Nassr and Al-Ain, and a win over Sepahan. Meanwhile, Al Ain are ranked fourth and last in the group with one point after the last draw with Al-Sadd, and the two defeats to Sepahan and Al Nasr.
Al-Sadd will look to correct the mistakes that occurred in Tuesday’s match, especially in defence, in order to get a win this time and move closer to qualifying for the second round.
Head coch Xavi oversaw the training session and confirmed the readiness of the squad ahead of Friday’s game, which will kick off at 6 PM at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Meanwhile, Al-Sadd will wear their white home kit in the match against Al Ain, and this was decided at the match coordination meeting that took place before the start of the tournament, during the teams’ kit colours were determined for all the group stage matches.
