Al-Sadd defender Tarek Salman remarked that a point was better than none, after his side drew 1-1 with Al-Nassr on Matchday 5 of the AFC Champions League group stage.
Speaking after the game, Tarek said: “Our goal was to win and top the group. In the first half, we were very bad. There were many mistakes, and we have to correct our situation. We were better in the second half and created many chances until we were able to score the equaliser. A point is better than none.”
He added: “We are now in the group stage, so this will help us correct our mistakes before competing in the next stages.”
