Al Sadd’s handball team has signed with Slovenian coach Branco Tamse to take charge of the team during the 2020-21 season.
The new coach is currently working with the first team in preparation for participating in the upcoming Qatar Cup and the Emir Cup matches, after the suspension of the league championship, which began on September 10.
The Slovenian coach led several handball clubs in his home country, before taking over at the Croatian club Zagreb, where he won the League and Cup titles.
Meanwhile, Al-Sadd has signed three foreign players – Miguel Radjkovic from Serbia, Slovenian international Greg Okolsen, and Egypt’s Hussein Abdullah – to strengthen the team in the new season.
