The Al-Sadd first team is all set to face Al-Khor in their 2020-21 Ooredoo Cup group stage clash on Wednesday. The Group A fixture in Round 4 of the competition will be played at the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30 PM.
The other teams in Group A are Al-Duhail, Al-Sailiya, Al-Wakrah and Qatar SC. Al-Sadd had lost their first game 3-2 to Qatar SC, before drawing 4-4 with Al-Sailiya. The game against Al-Duhail was postponed and is set to be played on November 7.
The first team’s training session on Tuesday evening was held in the absence of 11 Qatari internationals (Meshaal Barsham, Abdelkarim Hassan, Khoukhi Boualem, Tarek Salman, Musaab Khidir, Akram Afif, Hassan Al-Haydos, Mohammed Waad, Pedro Miguel, Ahmed Suhail, Yousuf Abdurisag), who have been called up to the national team camp for the two friendlies against Costa Rica and South Korea.
