The Al Sadd first team resumed its training on Wednesday, after the break followed the 3-1 victory over Umm Salal in Round 7 of the QNB Stars League.
The Wolves are preparing to face Al-Wakrah in the Round 8 game which will be played on Tuesday, December 8, at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium. Al-Sadd are currently on top of the league table with 19 points.
Wednesday’s training session was held without 9 players, who are currently with the Qatar national team, which is preparing to face Bangladesh in the Asian joint qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup.
Qatar’s squad includes the following Al-Sadd players: Meshaal Barsham, Abdelkarim Hassan, Khoukhi Boualem, Tarek Salman, Musaab Khidir, Akram Afif, Hassan Al Haydos, Muhammad Waad, Yousef Abdurisag.
The coaching staff, led by Xavi Hernandez, worked to on preparing the team and getting them to the best fitness levels ahead of the next game.
