The Al-Sadd first team held their main training session on Thursday evening at the club’s secondary pitch, in preparation for the next game against Al-Kharaitiyat, in Round 12 of the QNB Stars League.
Al-Sadd will enter the match with great enthusiasm looking for a strong start to the second phase of the competition. The Wolves will aim for three points to maintain their lead at the top of the league table.
Thursday’s main training session saw the team train in great spirits, in an ideal atmosphere. The coaching staff led by Xavi Hernandez held a meeting with the players before the start of the session to discuss the goals of the next match, which will be a great test for the team.
Ahmed Sayyar missed the training session on Thursday due to a health problem.
The trio of Akram Afif, Khoukhi Boualem and Hussam Kamal continue to be unavailable, and will miss the Al-Kharaitiyat match due to having tested positive for COVID-19.
Defender Pedro Miguel will also be absent from the upcoming match, due to the accumulation of cards, after receiving his fourth yellow card during the last match against Qatar SC.
