Al-Sadd’s South Korean midfielder Nam Tae-hee spoke of his team’s readiness for the upcoming clash against Al-Arabi in Round 17 of the QNB Stars League.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Nam said: “Against Al-Arabi, it’s going to be a difficult game, as always, but we are very very close to winning the league. We want to win this game and we want to win the league.”
Asked about the preparations for the game, he said: “Like I said, we are very close to winning the league. We are working hard and preparing well for the game against Al-Arabi. We are very close and inshaAllah we will win the game and the league.”
As for how he felt on contesting for the title in all the different competitions, Nam said: “Yes, it’s amazing because it’s been around ten years now since I came to Qatar and this is the first time that I’m winning all the titles in the space of a year. It’s really amazing but it’s due to hard work and team work. We work hard everyday, especially the coaching staff, everybody in the management, and of course, the players.”
He concluded by saying: “We are very happy but we haven’t finished yet. We will continue to work hard together and after this season, we will win more titles.”
