Al-Sadd were crowned champions of the 2020-21 edition of the QNB Stars League, after defeating Umm Salal 3-0 in the Round 18 game which was played on Sunday at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The team celebrated with the staff and fans after the victory, which saw them clinch the title with four games to go.
The result meant that Al-Sadd achieved a tally of 50 points, with an unassailable 13-point lead over second-placed Al-Duhail, giving them the 15th league title in the club’s history and the 75th overall trophy.
