Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez has announced the 30-member squad for the upcoming 2021 AFC Champions League group stage matches, which will be played in Riyadh starting from the 14th of April.
The squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Jehad Mohammed, Yousuf Al-Baloushi, Ahmed Sayyar, Pedro Miguel, Hassan Al-Haydos, Nam Tae-hee, Mohammed Waad, Khoukhi Boualem, Guilherme Torres, Rodrigo Tabata, Baghdad Bounedjah, Salem Al-Hajri, Tarek Salman, Yousuf Abdurisag, Hussam Kamal, Musaab Khidir, Ahmed Suhail, Bahaa Mamdouh, Hashim Ali, Abdelkarim Hassan, Santi Cazorla, Ali Asad, Akram Afif, Abdullah Ismail, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Hassan Ahmed, Faisal Azadi, Saoud Al-Nasr.
The tournament draw placed Al-Sadd in Group D, alongside Al-Nassr (KSA), Al-Wehdat (Jordan) and the winner of the play-off between Al-Ain (UAE) and Foolad (Iran).
