The Al-Sadd first team launched their overseas preseason training camp on Tuesday, which is being held in Olot, near Barcelona, from 2-14 August.
Head coach Xavi Hernandez held a meeting with the players before the start of the training session, during which he explained his the programme prepared for the camp, and its purpose.
The team’s players trained on Tuesda in two periods, with the morning period witnessing various fitness exercises, before moving on to training with the ball during the evening period, which included drills to work on movement and playing the ball with one or two touches, and applying constant pressure on the opponent.
Tuesday’s training witnessed the participation of Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla, who joined the Wolves’ camp in after the arrival of the squad yesterday, in addition to Ghanaian newcomer Andre Ayew.
