Al-Sadd coach Xavi Hernandez shared his happiness after his side defeated Al-Arabi 4-0 in Round 5 of the QNB Stars League.
Speaking after the match, Xavi said: “It was a well-deserved victory. We were better than Al-Arabi and we did not suffer during the match. We created many opportunities and succeeded in securing the game in the second half by scoring four goals, with a more than excellent performance.”
The coach continued: “We got 5 consecutive victories and collected 15 points to be at the top of the standings, and without the presence of some important players for the team such as Santi Cazorla and Khoukhi Boualem. We are going through a wonderful period and we are always ready to compete, and to complete the campaign.
Xavi thanked the fans for their support of the team, and said: “I’m happy with the Al Sadd fans. I thank them for their presence and support for the team. Our goal is always to win all matches in order to make the fans happy.”
