Mohamed Ghanem Al-Ali, head of the football at Al-Sadd, expressed his great happiness at officially being crowned champions of the QNB Stars League, for the second time in a row and a record sixteenth time in the club’s history.
In his statement after lifting the league title, Mohammed Ghanem said: “We deservedly achieved the league title, after a great and continuous effort from everyone in the club.”
He added: “Al Sadd is a winning team, and the team has been more than wonderful throughout the season and has proven that it is capable of competing for all titles. We hope that the league will be the beginning of the road to winning more local and international titles this season.”
The head of football continued: “I dedicate the title to the club’s board of directors and our loyal fans who love the team, and who supported the players in all matches.”
Mohammed Ghanem thanked all the players for the wonderful performances that resulted in winning the title, and expressed his best wishes for the upcoming period.
