Al Sadd coach Javi Gracia stressed that his side has many important games lying ahead in the next stage.
Speaking during the press conference for the upcoming and postponed match against Al Rayyan from Round 14 of the QNB Stars League, Gracia said: “After playing the Amir Cup quarter-final, we are looking to show the same level in the league. We are the champions, we lifted the title and we will now strive to win the remaining matches.”
The coach added: “Facing Al Rayyan will be difficult. It is a match that attracts fans. Certainly our goal will be to achieve victory and to complete the team’s campaign without losing a game.”
The Spaniard also noted that the pressure of matches in the current period represents a great challenge for the team, and said: “For us, all the matches are important. A strong clash awaits us in the Amir Cup semi-final, but we must play two matches in the league first, and we will always try to choose the best players for each match.”
