Al-Sadd coach Javi Gracia expressed his happiness with his side’s 1-0 victory over Al-Rayyan, in the postponed match from Round 14 of the QNB Stars League, which was played on Tuesday at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
Speaking after the match, Gracia said: “I am happy with what the players did today. We were good from start to end.”
He continued: “We have seen many players who did not get a chance in previous matches and I am very happy with what they did today, and our goal is to continue to perform well and get more victories in the upcoming matches.”
Gracia pointed out that everyone knows that these games are difficult and said: “We must fight them with full strength, with a week to go before the most important match for us in the Amir Cup semi-finals.”
