The Al-Sadd first team delegation arrived in Dammam, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, April 6, ahead of their participation in the 2022 AFC Champions League group stage.
The team will play in Group E, alongside Al-Faisaly (Saudi Arabia), Al-Wehdat (Jordan), and Nasaf (Uzbekistan).
The coaching staff, led by head coach Javi Gracia, chose 24 players to participate in the group stage, and the squad is as follows: Saad Al-Dosari, Mishaal Barshim, Yousef Al-Balushi, Karim Mohammed, Musaab Khidir, Abdelkarim Hassan, Pedro Miguel, Tarek Salman, Khoukhi Boualem, Ali Asad, Ahmed Sayar, Guilherme Torres, Jung Woo-young, Santi Cazorla, Akram Afif, Yousuf Abdurisag, Andre Ayew, Baghdad Bounedjah, Faisal Azadi, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Hassan Al-Haydos, Rodrigo Tabata, Muhammad Waad, Salem Al-Hajri.
The Al-Sadd squad will have their first training session in Dammam from 8:30 PM on Thursday, and the pre-match press conference will start at 3 PM.
