The Al-Sadd first team continued training today, Saturday, at Prince Saud bin Jiluwi Stadium, ahead of the upcoming clash against Al-Faisaly of Saudi Arabia, in the AFC Champions League.
The team is preparing to face Al-Faisaly in the second round of the Group E games at the AFC Champions League 2022. The match will kick off at 11:15 PM on Monday, April 11, at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.
Al-Sadd had to settle for 1-1 draw with Uzbekistan’s Nasaf in their opening group game, while Al-Faisaly’s match against Jordanian side Al-Wehdat ended in a 1-1 stalemate as well.
The players who played in the Nasaf match underwent recovery exercises at the team’s hotel, while the rest of the players went through intense training at the training ground.
