Al-Sadd midfielder Salem Al-Hajri confirmed his side’s readiness ahead of their upcoming game against Jordanian side Al-Wehdat, in the fourth round of the 2022 AFC Champions League group stage.
In his statement during the pre-match press conference, Salem said: “The upcoming game against Al-Wehdat will be a special match for our team. We defeated them 5-2 in the third round, but the next game will not be easy and we have to give our best to win.”
He added: “Three finals await us in the second phase of the group stage, and we have to win to ensure qualification. We promise all Al-Sadd fans that we will work to win and collect all three points.
