Al-Sadd’s first team conducted its main training session at Damac Club’s stadium, in preparation for the match against Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the opening round of Group B in the King Salman Club Cup. The tournament will take place from July 27th to August 12th.
The team is gearing up to face Wydad of Morocco at 4:00 PM on Thursday at Prince Sultan Sports City Stadium in Abha. Meanwhile, the other match in the same group will be between Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Ahli Tripoli of Libya.
Al-Sadd’s delegation arrived in Abha on Tuesday with the following 27 players: Saad Al-Dosari, Meshaal Barsham, Yousef Al-Balushi, Hassan Al-Haydos, Guilherme Torres, Pedro Miguel, Ahmed Sayyar, Paulo Otavio, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Mateus Uribe, Baghdad Bounedjah, Akram Afif, Khoukhi Boualem, Salem Al-Hajri, Ahmed Al-Saadi, Hashim Ali, Amin Hazbawi, Gonzalo Plata, Romain Saïss, Ali Asad, Musaab Khidir, Mustafa Tarek Meshaal, Yousuf Abdurisag, Ahmed Suhail, Mahdi Salem, Tarek Salman, and Mohammed Waad.
