Al-Sadd first team manager Abdullah Al-Breik remarked that his side’s upcoming clash against Al Ain in the Group D of the 2020 AFC Champions League will not be easy, adding that the Wolves must double their effort and focus, if they are to achieve the desired results.
Al-Breik said: “For us, this match is very important, and the players realize this, especially as it could be crucial in determining our place in the second round, and therefore we should fight from the beginning to the end of the match.”
The team manager added that all matches in the tournament will be difficult, saying: “Our goal is to reach the farthest point in the tournament, and all the remaining matches will be like finals. We know that there are opponents who will face us with all their strength, and this requires our players to double their efforts on the field.”
“We have so far won 4 points in Group D, and we will work during this next match to show our worth and get another win.”
Al-Breik further said: “Every match has its own circumstances, and we are now in our best condition after the strong start in the league.”
“We have closed the file of the league, and all our focus is now on the Champions League. The players are ready and the spirits are high and we have great confidence in them all.”
He concluded by saying: “We are looking for strong start, and it’s going to be a difficult match against Al Ain.”
