Al Sadd played out a 1-1 draw against UAE’s Al Wasl in the first leg of the AFC Champions League Elite Round of 16 for the 2024-2025 season. The match took place at Zabeel Stadium in Dubai on Monday, 3rd of March 2025.
The second leg is set to be played on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, the home of Al Sadd.
Ali Saleh put Al Wasl ahead in the 3rd minute, but substitute Abdullah Al Yazidi equalised for Al Sadd in the 67th minute.
