Al Sadd secured a 4–2 comeback victory over UAE side Shabab Al Ahli in the AFC Champions League Elite group stage match played on Tuesday, 23 December 2025, at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, as part of Round 6 of the West Zone competition.
With this win, Al Sadd moved up to five points in the table.
Rafa Mujica scored a hat-trick for Al-Sadd after coming on as a substitute (75′, 90+8′ and 90+10′), while Tarek Salman added the other goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
The Wolves managed to reverse the deficit, after initially trailing 2-0 to Shabab Al Ahli, whose goals were scored by Federico Cartabia in the 47th minute and Yahya Al Ghassani in the 70th minute from a penalty kick.
