Al-Sadd player Ahmed Al-Saeed confirmed his the team’s preparedness and desire for victory, ahead of the upcoming semi-final against Al-Shahania in the Amir Cup.
During the press conference, Ahmed stated, “We are aware that a difficult match awaits us against Al-Shahania, who has surprised everyone in the Amir Cup by defeating Al-Wakra and Al-Gharafa.”
He added that the team’s goal is to reach the final match, and said: “We need to be at our best level to achieve victory.”
Ahmed also emphasised that the Amir Cup is the most prestigious cup in Qatar, and added the match against Al-Shahania will not be easy. “Nevertheless, our ambition is to secure a spot in the final,” he said.
The youngster also highlighted the importance of the young players in the team, who are striving to perform well. He said: “The young players at Al-Sadd are looking to use the opportunities that the technical staff gives them, in order to support the first team.”
