Al-Sadd defender Ahmed Suhail expressed his happiness after his side reached the final of the Ooredoo Cup with a 2-0 win over Al-Ahli on Saturday evening.
Speaking to the media after the game, Ahmed said: “I am delighted to win this game and reach the final to face Al-Arabi. We played a big game, and Al-Ahli was a tough and stubborn opponent.”
“We forced our playing style onto the game. We were determined until the end, and we secured the win in the second half. Now, our focus is on the next game.”
He added: “We played entertaining football and we did what was required. We will now look to win the upcoming games.”
