Al-Sadd defender Ahmed Suhail expressed his happiness with the 4-2 victory achieved by his side over Al Shahania in the seventh round of the Ooredoo Stars League.
In his post-match comments, Suhail said: “We congratulate Al Sadd’s fans on the win against Al Shahania, and we thank them for their presence and support during the match. We promise them even better performances in the future.”
He added: “We played a good game and were the better side during the first half, managing to score three early goals which allowed us to play more comfortably. The dip in performance in the second half was somewhat natural, but we succeeded in securing the win with four goals.”
He concluded: “Certainly, this victory gives us a morale boost to keep improving, stay on the same path, and achieve more wins both domestically and in Asia.”
