Al-Sadd’s Akram Afif affirmed the team’s readiness for the upcoming match against Umm Salal in the twelfth week of the Expo Stars League.
During the pre-match press conference, Akram stated: “Facing Umm Salal is challenging, and their matches against Al-Sadd are always filled with competitiveness and challenges. We are striving to give our best to secure the victory and three points.”
He added: “The loss to Al-Arabi didn’t affect us as a team. We are still at the top, but winning that game would have widened the points gap with the other competitors.”
Akram concluded his remarks by saying: “There is still a long way to go in the league, and our goal is to deliver the best performance against Umm Salal and return to winning ways.”
