The Al Sadd first team concluded their preparations for the upcoming game against Qatar SC with their final training session at the club’s secondary pitch on Sunday evening. The QNB Stars League Round 11 game is set to kick off at 6:30 PM on Monday at Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium.
Head coach Xavi Hernandez supervised the session, making sure the players were physically and technically fully prepared for tomorrow’s match. At the end of the training session, the coach announced the matchday squad, consisting of 20 players: Meshaal Barsham, Saad Al-Dosari, Jung Woo-young, Ahmed Sayyar, Pedro Miguel, Hassan Al-Haydos, Mohamed Waad, Salem Al-Hajri, Ali Asad, Baghdad Bounedjah, Guilherme Torres, Rodrgio Tabata, Santi Cazorla, Abdelkarim Hassan, Yousuf Abdurisag, Hashim Ali, Musaab Khidir, Nam Tae-hee, Ahmed Suhail, Tarek Salman.
Later, the squad left for an overnight camp at the Messila Hotel, from where they will travel to the stadium for the match tomorrow.
- The squad announcement witnessed the absence of the trio of Akram Afif, Hussam Kamal, Khoukhi Boualem, after they tested positive for COVID-19. This means they will now be unavailable for selection for the upcoming period.
