Al-Sadd club’s first team recorded a 3-0 victory over Al-Shamal, in a friendly match that was held today, Thursday, at the club’s secondary pitch, in preparation for the resumption of the 2022-23 QNB Stars League season.
The Wolves will face the Qatar SC, in the eighth round of the competition, on January 4, 2023.
Al-Sadd’s goals came from Santi Cazorla in the 34th minute from a penalty kick, followed by Andre Ayew in the 65th minute, and finally Mahdi Salem in the 84th minute.
Al-Sadd started with a lineup consisting of Jehad Muhammad, Muhammad Mannai, Bahaa Al-Laithi, Ahmed Suhail, Ahmed Al-Saeed, Abdulrahman Rashid, Jung Woo-young, Ahmed Sayyar, Rodrigo Tabata, Andre Ayew, Santi Cazorla.
Musaab Kheder, Pedro Miguel, Saad Al-Dosari, Akram Afif and Mahdi Salem entered as substitutes in the second half.
