Al-Sadd defeated Al-Wakrah 2-1 in the final and 22nd round of the QNB Stars League, on Friday, at the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium.
With this victory, the Wolves ended the 2021-22 season without a loss, for the second year in a row. Al-Sadd finished with a tally of 62 points at the top of the table.
Khoukhi Boualem opened the scoring for Al-Sadd in the 19th, and Al-Wakrah equalised through Saleh Saeed in the 50th minute, before Rodrigo Tabata got the winner in the 79th through a penalty.
